# What Should I Upgrade Next?

After your next HQ prerequisites are handled, don't upgrade buildings randomly.

Ask:

### **What's currently holding my account back?**

Then upgrade the building that solves that problem.

## Formation I

Upgrade **Formation I** when strengthening your Main Troop is the priority.

Each level provides:

**+1% ATK**  
**+1% DEF**

to that Troop only.

Other Formation buildings affect their respective Troops.

## Main Troop Camp

Upgrade the Camp associated with your primary troop type when unlocking the next troop tier is your bottleneck.

The three Camps are:

- Assaulter Camp
- Shooter Camp
- Rider Camp

Keep the others on the required HQ progression path unless you actively use those troop types.

## Military Center

Upgrade the **Military Center** when troop capacity is restricting your training.

**Problem:** Not enough troop capacity  
**Solution:** Military Center

## Hospital

Upgrade your **Hospital** before periods of repeated fighting when wounded capacity is becoming a problem.

**Problem:** Wounded capacity too low  
**Solution:** Hospital

## Warehouse

Upgrade your **Warehouse** when you regularly hold more resources than it can protect—especially before being offline for longer periods.

### Resource Protection Tip

Keep unused resource packs **unopened until you actually need them**.

Resources sitting safely inside packs don't need to be opened just because you received them.

## City Walls & Alliance Center

Upgrade **City Walls** and the **Alliance Center** when they're required for your next HQ upgrade.

They don't need to match your Headquarters level at every stage.

When you're unsure what to build next, use this order:

**1. Check your next HQ requirement**  
**2. Upgrade the Laboratory/prerequisite building**  
**3. Keep essential resource production moving**  
**4. Push Shooter stages while builders are busy**  
**5. Upgrade your Main Formation/Camp when needed**  
**6. Upgrade Military Center if troop capacity is limiting you**  
**7. Upgrade Hospital if wounded capacity is limiting you**  
**8. Upgrade Warehouse if resource protection is becoming a problem**  
**9. Avoid random upgrades that don't solve a current need**
